上周,來(lái)自英國(guó)惠靈頓公學(xué)的數(shù)位成員、曼谷惠靈頓國(guó)際學(xué)??傂iL(zhǎng)和惠靈頓(中國(guó))惠立教育研究院的成員等六位年審團(tuán)隊(duì)成員對(duì)惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)開(kāi)展了年度審核,主要審核以下九大方面:

領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力與管理 年審團(tuán)隊(duì)根據(jù)審核標(biāo)準(zhǔn)評(píng)估惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)的發(fā)展?fàn)顩r,并給予綜合建議。我們?yōu)槟陮張F(tuán)隊(duì)給出的評(píng)價(jià)感到十分振奮,更為惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)的成長(zhǎng)感到無(wú)比自豪。年審團(tuán)隊(duì)認(rèn)為,惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)團(tuán)隊(duì)始終堅(jiān)定地支持學(xué)校及其價(jià)值觀,所有人的工作中處處都彰顯著崇高的教育愿景。全體員工樹(shù)立高標(biāo)準(zhǔn),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極實(shí)現(xiàn)進(jìn)步,為年審團(tuán)隊(duì)留下了深刻的印象;與此同時(shí),惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)學(xué)子的外部考試成績(jī)更令年審團(tuán)隊(duì)贊口不絕,稱之為“非同凡響”。
年審團(tuán)隊(duì)指出,個(gè)人成長(zhǎng)和幸福關(guān)懷是惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)的優(yōu)勢(shì)之一,校區(qū)在該方面的管理與政策無(wú)懈可擊,也因此而讓學(xué)生們實(shí)現(xiàn)了茁壯成長(zhǎng)。當(dāng)看到惠立的聯(lián)合教學(xué)模式后,年審團(tuán)隊(duì)感到十分震撼,稱該模式是名副其實(shí)的“非同凡響”。
年審團(tuán)隊(duì)還對(duì)惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)的師生關(guān)系做出評(píng)價(jià),認(rèn)為校區(qū)的師生關(guān)系十分融洽,校區(qū)上下一心,始終以學(xué)生為中心、以發(fā)展為導(dǎo)向,將追求卓越的信念不斷發(fā)揚(yáng)光大。
英國(guó)惠靈頓公學(xué)的代表還對(duì)我們的寄宿學(xué)院做了評(píng)估。英國(guó)惠靈頓公學(xué)九年級(jí)年級(jí)組長(zhǎng)Rachel Loaring感嘆道,惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)的寄宿學(xué)院設(shè)施一流、管理完善,并認(rèn)為寄宿學(xué)院稱得上是“鑲嵌在我們王冠上的一顆明珠”。
在經(jīng)過(guò)充實(shí)的一周后,年審團(tuán)隊(duì)在總結(jié)大會(huì)上對(duì)惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)團(tuán)隊(duì)的勤懇耕耘、敬業(yè)奉獻(xiàn)和崇高追求給予了充分的肯定。數(shù)年來(lái),惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)團(tuán)隊(duì)同舟共濟(jì)、攜手并進(jìn),我也十分有幸能帶領(lǐng)一支實(shí)力過(guò)硬、鼓舞人心的優(yōu)秀團(tuán)隊(duì)走過(guò)過(guò)去的四年。最后,我想與大家分享年審團(tuán)隊(duì)說(shuō)過(guò)的,也是我最喜愛(ài)的一句評(píng)價(jià):
未來(lái)十至十五年中,惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)將成為具備世界影響力的學(xué)校。
來(lái)自年審團(tuán)隊(duì)的精彩評(píng)價(jià)
Chris Woolf惠靈頓國(guó)際,國(guó)際事務(wù)總監(jiān)年審期間,最讓我印象深刻的是與學(xué)生們的互動(dòng)。學(xué)生們都說(shuō)他們特別喜歡這里的教育氛圍。而這樣的氛圍正是年審團(tuán)隊(duì)一致認(rèn)可的。我覺(jué)得這次年審中的亮點(diǎn)是與杭州校區(qū)的師生和管理團(tuán)隊(duì)一同來(lái)見(jiàn)證這里出色的教育。學(xué)生們對(duì)學(xué)校有很高的認(rèn)同感,也取得了不菲的學(xué)術(shù)成就。這次年審真是一場(chǎng)精彩的經(jīng)歷,我也很榮幸能來(lái)到這里。
Christopher Nicholls曼谷惠靈頓國(guó)際學(xué)校總校長(zhǎng)我曾在2018年惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)建校時(shí)就來(lái)過(guò)這里,此后沒(méi)有再來(lái)過(guò)了。這次,我看到曾經(jīng)空曠寬敞的校區(qū),如今處處都是勃勃的生機(jī)和快樂(lè),到處都洋溢著學(xué)習(xí)的熱情。每一所優(yōu)質(zhì)出色的學(xué)校里,最讓人眼前一亮的元素之一便是出類(lèi)拔萃的學(xué)生。從我們進(jìn)入惠靈頓杭州校區(qū)的那一刻起,映入眼簾的都是自信快樂(lè)、自如自洽、獨(dú)立自主的學(xué)生。之后我們看到的一切都在有力地支撐著這一點(diǎn)。不論是在教室里,還是在校區(qū)的各個(gè)角落,學(xué)生們都在認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí)、不斷成長(zhǎng),與同學(xué)和優(yōu)秀的教師構(gòu)建起積極向上的關(guān)系,老師們也對(duì)學(xué)生的需求和發(fā)展方向有著明確的認(rèn)識(shí),學(xué)校的環(huán)境也是歡樂(lè)向上的。

Wellington College England was founded by Queen Victoria in 1859 as a national monument to Great Britain’s most renowned military figure, the Duke of Wellington. Since its foundation, Wellington College has been a household name in the UK for its academic excellence and successful management. Wellington international family holds all its member schools to the same rigorous standards as Wellington College UK and conducts rigorous annual reviews to ensure that the teaching standards of the teachers, academic performance of the pupils, and managerial skills of the leadership team are at the top of the world. This year, Wellington College Hangzhou once again achieved excellent results in the Wellington global annual review.

Last week we completed the Annual Review of our Wellington College Hangzhou campus. We welcomed six visitors. From Wellington College UK, the Master from Wellington College Bangkok and one visitor from our Institute of Learning to assess how well we are progressing as a school. The team reviewed nine areas of the school:
Vision, mission and ethos
Academic and other achievements
Personal development,
wellbeing and safety
Collaboration and integration
Teaching and learning
Curriculum and assessment
Boarding provision
Staff development and support
Leadership and management
The Annual Review team has set criteria to assess us against and make overall recommendations. We were thrilled with the feedback from the team, and we are incredibly proud of the progress we are making as a school. The team recognised that everyone in the Wellington College Hangzhou community had a strong commitment to the school and its values. They said our vision for your children was excellent, and it was embedded everywhere by everyone! The team were extremely impressed with the high expectations set by all staff and recognised that the pupils were making rapid progress. The team also commended the school on our external exams, stating that the results were outstanding!
They understood personal development and wellbeing to be a real strength of the school. They found the processes and policies we have in place were thoroughly excellent and the pupilsreal pearl in our crownt been back since, so itve seen since has just backed that conclusion up. What I see in the classrooms across everywhere that I've visited is students doing good learning, doing good work with good relationships with each other, with excellent teachers who understand what they need to make progress in a happy environment.”
