Ever since I adopted a meal prepping and portion control eating habit over a year ago I have become very selective on the types of food that I will eat. I no longer make it to fast-food restaurants or seldom the night that I’ll go out for dinner with friends and family.

But there are exceptions to certain things in life so there are times when I do give-in to some healthy choices that are not cooked by me and such was the case when I went to Costco a few weeks ago for our household shopping needs. The last time I was there my fiancée and I had just returned from a vacation in Texas and our meal prepping day had pretty much been spent at the airport, lay-over and driving home so we came across elevĀte Salads  at Costco and it was a no brainer that we would buy a few of them for the week.
