Every time I visit Corner Bakery Café I always get the feeling of wanting to go back immediately the next day because their meals are delicious and the perfect size. And when you feel they might be a little too big for your appetite you can save them for the next meal of the day or share them with someone.

You really cannot go wrong with what you order at Corner Bakery Café because all their food is fresh and made-to-order.

From the moment I walked into Corner Bakery I felt as if I could stay there all day tasting their different food items on the menu, but seeing how I was in the middle of moving from one house to another it was impossible to do. Plus, I don’t think that would align too well with the healthy lifestyle I promote.

Nonetheless their fast service and amazing food made the lunch break my fiancé and I took very well worth it.

There are some new items on the menu that Corner Bakery has launched for 2016 and I recommend you order at least one to taste all the goodness in these meals made to perfection:

Anaheim Scrambler – For breakfast, this dish is made with freshly scrambled eggs with Applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, green onions and cheddar cheese, topped with avocado.

Chopped Salad – This salad features all-natural chicken, Applewood smoked bacon, avocado, bleu cheese, tomatoes and green onions tossed with iceberg and romaine lettuce and our sweet and spicy house vinaigrette.

Pesto Cavatappi – All-natural grilled chicken and cavatappi pasta tossed in our rich pesto cream sauce and sprinkled with toasted bread crumbs.

Since my fiancé and I had been running around all day with moving boxes, driving a U-haul and carrying furniture we wanted something refreshing so during our visit we opted for the Chopped Salad. The salad came in a big portion that we both ate and then we even had leftovers for dinner that evening.

We also ordered the Chicken Pesto on Ciabatta Ficelle which comes with all-natural chicken, arugula and tomatoes with their sweet and spicy house vinaigrette and pesto mayo. In addition we ordered the Tortilla Soup, which came in the right portion control amount. YES!

I am Latino and growing up my mom would make us tortilla soup and this one in particular at Corner Bakery reminded me of those days when I was young and ate homemade soup.

I love pesto and tomatoes so the sandwich made me feel in heaven while taking every bite out of it.

To top it off and since we both have a sweet tooth we went with the Lemon Bar, which is delicious and perfect for the sunny weather we’ve been having in California lately.

We received our food within minutes and the people there were so attentive to make our visit the best one, just like they were with everyone else walking in the door.

What has been your experience at Corner Bakery? Do you usually eat there or take-out? Have you visited?

If you haven’t I recommend you take a trip to Corner Bakery for your next meal. In addition, I’ve got a gift card ($$$) giveaway that I am raffling off so that you and a special someone can go and experience their great food and venue.

I look forward to seeing your participation.
